I have always been drawn to the helping profession. During my teens I was a peer mediator and camp counselor.  In college I became fascinated with human behavior and how the brain functions. I majored in  Psychology and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelors Degree from Framingham State University. I then went on  to obtain my Masters Degree in Education and Psychology from Springfield College. I worked in the public education system for almost 15 years as a School Counselor and School Administrator. In 2016 I chose to further my education in the mental health field and went back to school to pursue my mental health license. I did my clinical internship at the Behavioral Health Network Child Guidance Clinic and was then hired as a full time Clinician. During my time with BHN I acheived my 3,500 clinical hours needed for licensure and passed the NCMHCE test. I became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in MA In 2020. Shortly thereafter I took the next big step in my professional journey and opened my own Private Practice in West Springfield, MA.  I acheived my Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional Certificate in 2022 and became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of CT in 2026.  I am passionate about mental heatlh awareness and love the work I do.

Outside of being a counselor I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, dog lover, beach lover and travel enthusiast.  I enjoy reading, being crafty, painting, creating, decorating, music, singing, dancing and gardeing. I love nature and being outside in the warm sun as much as possible. When I'm not working you can usually find me enjoying my backyard in the nice weather, or in colder weather curled up on the couch next to the fireplace with a good book, or a movie and a delicious latte. Otherwise, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, attending my kids extra curricular events and visiting family and friends. Every day is a blessing, even the tough ones. Change is the only contant in this world, and I choose to embrace it and ride the waves as they come.
